It is so beautiful here!

Those seeking pristine nature, clean air and breathtaking views will always return to South Tyrol. At the foot of Alpe di Siusi, in Val Gardena, in the heart of the Dolomites, lies the picturesque village of Bulla, which gets its name from "the Bullaccia”, a mountain which rises majestically to 2000 meters high southwest of the village.

Discover how wonderfully quiet and free of hectic traffic and noise it is here. The Hotel Platz is an ideal place for families, in fact many of them have been coming here for decades - a place where you can embrace nature and recharge your batteries!

The village of Bulla consists of a few houses and a church, however it is full of impressive historical and geological treasures. The area is part of the municipality of Castelrotto, but culturally it is a fraction of the Ladin community, therefore it is not uncommon to hear the ancient Ladin language spoken alongside Italian and German.

St. Leonard's Church is located in the center of Bulla and was dedicated to Saint Leonard, who was ordained the patron saint of cattle and livestock. The church was built in the thirteenth century in Romanesque style, and later in the eighteenth century Gothic and Baroque elements were added. May we recommend a visit to the old mills of Bulla, dating from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, where you can experience the ancient craft of the millers and their lifestyle. There’s always something to do in our quiet little village!

Bulla counts 133 inhabitants: we bet you’ll love every single one! The inhabitants of Bulla are distinguished by their calm composure and down-to-earth approach.
